Episodio II: de fibra y viento.

To mark its 25th anniversary, Las Rozas Village (part of The Bicester Collection) launched "Mano a Mano", a curated project dedicated to elevating Spanish High Craftsmanship within the contemporary luxury sector. I was selected to headline Episode II: Of Fiber and Wind, a showcase exclusively dedicated to the preservation and evolution of textile art.
More than a static display, I conceived this intervention as a live atelier. The goal was to bring my material laboratory into the Village to demonstrate firsthand the complexity of the processes behind each piece: the mastery of fibers, technical experimentation, and the dialogue between heritage and the contemporary.

Craftsmanship is not merely a consumer good; it is a story and a bond. In an environment often defined by immediacy, this collaboration served as a manifesto: true luxury resides in time and in the creator's intention.
Choosing artisanal work means creating pieces that escape fleeting trends. It is a vindication of slow, meticulous work, where the real value lies in the process, the materials, and what is made to endure.

I would like to express my most sincere gratitude to Las Rozas Village and the entire curatorial team for making this encounter possible, creating a vital space to showcase Spanish High Craftsmanship. Likewise, thank you to all the clients and visitors who came to the space to experience the techniques up close. Your interest, your time, and your sensitivity toward manual work are the true driving force that keeps this craft alive.
