CURIOSITY AS AN ORIGIN

A HYBRID VISION

I search for unexpected connections between worlds that seem opposed. To approach craft from ever new angles, I need to learn, to hybridize, and to evolve.

Over the years, my hands have gathered disciplines , from classical European millinery to the quiet patience of Eastern artisanal traditions.

NATURAL DYES

THE CHEMISTRY OF

NATURE

In the atelier, I create my own dyes from plants, roots, flowers, insects, and mineral earths.

Hand-dyeing yields vibrant, singular hues. Color is never flat, never identical twice  it is alive, and it holds a soul.

HAUTE COUTURE FLOWERS

TRANSFORMING TEXTILE

Each leaf and petal is stiffened and hand-cut, then shaped with heat using veiners, curling irons, and embossing tools , the magical instant when textile ceases to be flat and gains volume and movement.

Finally, in the floraison stage, flower is joined to stem, creating a botanical piece that never wilts.

TSUMAMI ZAIKU

つまみ細工

THE ART OF FOLDING

Born in Japan's Edo period, this technique is the art of pinching (tsumami) small silk squares to form petals.

CHANHUA 缠花

SILK THREAD AS SCULPTURE

An ancient Chinese technique tied to the Qing Dynasty. Silk threads are wound around a frame to create three-dimensional sculptures of flowers, insects, and birds.

PORCELAIN & WAX

THE ARTIST'S TRACE

My pieces celebrate the trace: the texture of my fingers as they shape, the asymmetry of a leaf, the patina of ageing.

Embracing the philosophy of Wabi-Sabi: nothing is perfect, nothing is permanent, and therein lies its magic.

CROCHET & 3D

WEAVING THE NEW

Crochet is no relic of the past,  it is memory and mathematical structure.

I work with the finest needles available on the market to weave micro-architectures in thread, hybridizing this ancestral technique with 3D Printing.

The perfect dialogue between the digital and the handmade.

 EMBROIDERY

DRAWING AND TEXTURIZING WITH A NEEDLE

I use Lunéville embroidery and the French knot to bring texture and relief to the work.

These techniques, originating in French Haute Couture, allow me to research and incorporate material innovation, such as EcoSequins and findings of my own creation, lending a tactile narrative to every piece.

BIOMATERIALS LABORATORY & DIGITAL CRAFTSMANSHIP

3D, LASER & MOLDS

En mi taller, investigo cómo crear de una manera más consciente.

Desarrollo mis propios materiales y fornituras, combinando el  corte láser y la impresión 3D para fabricar mis propios moldes o estructuras.
