I create these pieces using the art of silk flower making, an ancient technique that traveled the Silk Road to European Haute Couture ateliers. Each petal is hand-modeled with traditional tools, intervening the silk with natural dyeing materials and Haute Couture finishes. This process of working with heat and organic coloration endows the piece with unmatched depth and vibration, merging the memory of the craft with the alchemy of matter.
