NATURE IN SILK

SILVESTRE

detalles2.jpg

The Silvestre Collection is inspired by the beauty of the ephemeral and the richness of diversity. Its main visual source lies in the native flora that inhabits natural landscapes. Textures, colors, and shapes drawn from the wild environment of the Sierra of Madrid and Spain form a tapestry of botanical diversity that has inspired artists and artisans for centuries. Today, it is reinterpreted through contemporary textile techniques, weaving tradition and innovation into a new creative vision.

Beyond capturing the surface beauty of nature, the collection seeks to explore deeper themes such as sustainability, inclusion, and the revalorization of what is often discarded. Inspired by the fleeting beauty of wildflowers commonly regarded as “weeds,” and crafted with reclaimed high-quality textiles, each piece stands as a testament to how what may be perceived as insignificant or disposable can be transformed into something both meaningful and beautiful.

With the intention of conveying the value of uniqueness and nature, the collection invites us to reconnect both with the natural world and with ourselves. It encourages reflection on how we might redefine the aesthetic and practical value of the materials that surround us. Each piece is conceived as a reminder of the importance of preserving our environment and cherishing our own particularities.
