TECHNIQUES CRAFTSMANSHIP
THE CURIOSITY THAT INSPIRES LEARNING
My interest in preserving tradition urges me to be in continuous search and learning of new techniques. Over the years, I have taken numerous courses, and the development of my technique has been very personal. It evolves over time through the acquisition of new skills in execution, craftsmanship, materials, and tools.
MATERIALS AND TREADS
We mainly use natural fibers like silk, linen, hemp, and organic cotton. For our crochet designs we work with organic cotton threads with the GOTS and OCCUGUARANTEE certifications, Greencel, naturally dyed silk, GOTS-certified linen, and regional merino wool from extensive and transhumant cattle. Some of our threads are vintage, second-hand, and limited editions that are impossible to repeat.
All of the materials and threads that we incorporate into our production have sustainable criteria or are certified to prove their traceability and transparency.
We are grateful for the collaboration of multiple designers who share our values and philosophy. Thanks to them, we have been able to rescue some of these materials from the highest quality cuts, minimizing textile waste.
NATURAL DYES
We love the world that surrounds natural dyes. It’s enchanting to create our mixes, exploring and experimenting to see how the colors bring these materials to life. It’s exciting to discover new tones and subtleties that will be unique in each color bath, breathing fresh life to ribbons and flowers.
The FABRICS are the canvas that we use to portray our admiration and respect for nature through vegetable tints along with environmentally and socially-responsible methods. In our collections, soft and dusty tones along with monochromatic combinations dominate. They coexist sporadically and harmoniously with a happy explosion of intense and vibrant colors.
HIGH CUTTING FLOWERS
The loss of noble trades with painstaking hand work ignited our interest to preserve tradition. We are fascinated by the elaboration of pieces as a labor of love and enthusiasm, the good work that adds value and history to our designs.
Organzas and muslins to create delicate and ethereal transparencies. Hemp, linen, and cotton to give them a provincial and bucolic touch… each flower is exceptional. We create different forms and sizes to make them sing, playing with materials, volumes, and textures to discover your perfect piece.
The elaboration of artisanal flowers requires numerous days to complete. Their history begins by creating our own pistils.
In the past, we prepared and mordanted our materials to apply ink and natural dyes, substituting methods that should be obsolete for more respectful methods and free of toxins.
We size with brushes, cutting each flower one-by-one by hand before painstakingly molding each flower and leaf with warmth, finishing each floraison phase where we unite the flower to the stem.
NATURALFLOWERS
Nature is one of our most precious sources of inspiration. Flowers are a constant presence in our pieces, the ultimate symbols of happiness and optimism.
Our flowers are 100% natural, dried, and treated so that their beauty endures the years to come. This allows us to reduce our environmental footprint, as they are more efficient than freshly-cut flowers thanks to their long life and low energy consumption for their transport and storage.
PORCELAIN FLOWERS
We look for a characteristic aesthetic in our pieces to differentiate them from the classic and polished porcelain, to elevate the worn out, broken, and unfinished as a sign of beauty. Each detail forms part of the soul of the piece, like the texture that leaves the fingerprint of the artist, with their digital impressions and the sinuous step of time transformed.
Each piece follows a process of elaboration that requires several days of work so that we can dedicate all the time and care that it deserves. Softly and carefully we begin with the dough before forming each individual pistil, leaf, and petal with burins. Once dry, we add the finishing touches, such as painting, aging, and waxing.
CROCHET& 3DPRINTING
Crochet has become a trend both in and outside of our closets; you’ll see it in numerous modern art museums throughout the world.
Our pieces require skill and attention to detail. We work with the smallest needles on the market (from .5 mm to 1mm) to achieve a delicate finish, notable and singular. We knit the threads with both the hands and heart, safeguarding an inheritance transgenerational while looking for an avant-garde form of understanding and applying crochet. We adapt new technologies to enrich rather than substitute traditional techniques.
We believe in 3-D printing because it allows us the opportunity to create totally personalized pieces. We only complete pieces on demand to avoid overproduction and waste. We work with filaments that are biodegradable or recycled from a local or nearby source, controlling the entire process.
CHANHUA (缠花)
An ancient traditional Chinese technique involving winding silk threads around a frame to create decorations shaped like flowers, birds, insects, fish, etc.
It is one of China's cultural heritages.
It was commonly used in ancient times to adorn the hair.

Highlighting the use of Luneville embroidery and French knot techniques. Two exceptional artisanal techniques that imbue pieces with a sense of luxury and depth. Originating from France, these styles stand out for their meticulousness and refinement, creating exquisitely detailed designs and lush textures.
These techniques become tools for storytelling, exploring emotions, and challenging conventions. Wearable pieces of art that create a dialogue between the past and the present, transcending time and space
